To be a member of the S.A.M. Forum is not required to be a member of Sacramento Area Modelers Club.

Sacramento Area Modelers Group Discission Forum Policies

Sacramento Area Modelers (S.A.M.) has certain standards for the members that join our forums, they agree to abide by the rules. To remain a part of the S.A.M. community, members must be considerate of others. Repeated violations of these guidelines set forth below may result in a member permanently restricted to our forums.

The popularity of our interactive forums necessitate a list of rules that all contributors to this forum must adhere to. These rules are to ensure the following:

  • Respect for fellow RC Hobbiest is maintained at all times.
  • S.A.M. Forum remains a valuable, friendly, and significant RC Hobbiest resource

    Contributors to our interactive features must agree to our rules in order to post. The rules are incontestable. People found in violation of this code may have their privilege revoked. Repeat offenders may be banned from visiting our sites. While we strive for fairness and objectivity, editing is a subjective process which may sometimes seem inconsistent. We can not catch every violation and for this reason, we ask that you assist us by reporting violators . Posts that are visible do not necessarily mean that they have been reviewed by our staff and meet our criteria for acceptance.

    We make no assertions to their credibility, truthfulness, or accuracy. All contributions are the responsibility of the person submitting them.

    The staff of the S.A.M. Forum reserve the right to remove any post, topic, or person for any reason we see fit.

    1. No Profanity. This includes cursing, sexual innuendo, vulgar statements
    2. No Threatening, harassing, or abusive remarks.
    3. No discussion, or challenge, to our editing policy are allowed within the conferences.
    4.

    No topics and/or statements which could be used to reflect poorly on Sacramento Area Modelers Club, Members of Sacramento Area Modelers Club and/or Members of the Sacramento Area Modelers Forum. We have the right to remove all/or any topics or statements which could be used against us, or tarnish our image. While the contributors original intent (e.g. an example of "what not to do") may be good-intentioned, if it can assist in presenting poor image to the media for our sport it will be removed.

    5.

    No Advertising.

    This includes both commercial, nonprofit, and classified ads. We have a resource available in the Sacramento Area Modelers website for FREE classified ad section.
    An ad is defined as any post, topic, or blatant attempt to solicit business,products and/or services. An individual may respond, however, to a question on how to contact a business along with responses to inquiries on products or services. Suspicious contributions will be removed at the staffs' discretion.

    6.

    Topics must be related to RC Airplanes on this forum. No off-topic posting allowed.

    7.

    Contributors who are argumentative, intolerant, confrontational, and lack respect for others will be removed. While debate is often healthy, habitual debaters and people who seek confrontation will be removed and potentially blocked from making future contributions. This is necessary to ensure a positive experience for the great majority of our visitors.

    8.

    Anonymous Registrations are Prohibited

    People who register for our services under assumed or "bogus" names will be removed.

    9.

    Editing for Content and Balance, Staff discretion

    We reserve the right to edit for content and balance among topics. The S.A.M. Forum Staff reserves the right to edit for any reason we see fit without justification or explanation.
