Several members of the SAM Club showed up on short notice to respond to an invitation from the Elk Grove Airport Association to fly R/C at their Open House on June 27. Steve Brown, Tom Richardi and Andy Anderson even made it downtown on very short notice to be on KMAX Channel 31 for a TV spot on Good Day Sacramento. 

 About 11 members brought a variety of airplanes for static display along with many airplanes that provided a good two hour show of flying demonstrations.  Giant Scale, old timers, many biplanes, war replicas, and a helicopter inspired the crowd while we handed out flyers inviting the public to our open house on August 15. 

Much thanks to Andy, Frank, Steve, Bob, Don, Tom, Jim, Tim, Walt, Ollie, and Eut.  Even though it was really hot and our setup area was nearly blown away and dusted several times by prop wash from full scale airplanes giving rides, a good time was had by all.
